I am embarking on a 10,000 mile journey across some of the most challenging and stunning trails on the planet. But this is more than just a display of strength, willpower, and endurance; it’s a mission fueled by heart, hope, and the shared belief in a brighter future for kids battling cancer.

Oncology and Kids is the childhood oncology organization that provides a voice, community, and sense of normalcy for children with cancer and their families who need to recover from the emotional toll of diagnoses and treatment. Making sense of the complex emotions that arise from living with cancer is especially difficult for children. OAK empowers kids to process and express their feelings—in their own time, in their own words, by providing safe spaces for children affected by cancer and their families to create lasting memories and lifelong friendships.
